Position Overview:
As an Estimation Specialist at Alkhobar Group, you will play a pivotal role in our project development and bidding process. You will be responsible for providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction and engineering projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Bid Preparation: Collaborate with the bidding team to develop competitive and comprehensive bid proposals.
- Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain pricing and quotes.
- Budget Management: Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cost estimates, bids, and related documentation.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, construction methods, and cost trends to enhance estimation accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimation Specialist or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
