Position: Economic Engineer at Aramco Saudi Arabia for Base Oils in Jeddah
Responsibilities:
- Issuing a daily production summary report and submitting it before 8 AM
- Preparing daily prices for raw materials, MHFO, diesel, naphtha, and asphalt based on Platts and Argus reports loaded in SAP
- Preparing monthly prices for raw materials, naphtha, diesel, MHFO, and asphalt based on actual shipping costs and conversion factor to confirm actual prices with accounting
- Providing information for monthly analysis of refinery operations, comparing actual production with the original plan for the month and those expected for the same actual reactions
- Utilizing linear pre-scheduling tool to optimize production lineup to generate maximum net margin
- Using planning scheduling tool to issue monthly production target to meet sales requirements
- Coordinating for monthly production planning, supply and demand meeting, and preparing agreed monthly plan documents for approval
- Coordinating with planning engineer to prepare analytical reports regarding refinery status and performance
- Calculating monthly capacity utilization and updating key performance indicators for production and sending them to corporate planning
- Performing any other duties related to the job as requested by the supervisor and direct managerRequirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of refining operations
- Strong background in linear programming and Microsoft Office
